Art show by seven local artists: Mary Bennett, Joanne Brown, Jackie Conradi-Robertson, Lynn Copeland, Camille Mehta, Azumi Nagai, Billy Wittman
We are your neighbours! We have lived in this neighbourhood for a long time (and love it). We are actively involved in community groups such as Kits House Seniors Art Group, Artists in Our Midst (West of Main Art Walk), Creative Neighbours Salon, Village Vancouver, Aberthau/West Point Grey Community Centre.
See something you like? Hint to someone you know or give yourself the “gift of art.”
Business cards with contact information for the artists are in the office.
Interested in showing your art at the community office? Contact Mary Bennett at firstname.lastname@example.org
Buy Local Week
From Nov 27th to Dec 3rd
It's almost BC Buy Local Week in Point Grey Village, this is an annual celebration of the unique contributions that local businesses make to our communities and to our economy.
For every $1 a consumer spends locally, 45 cents remains in the community. Get involved! Share your favourite local product or service on #BCBuyLocal and choose local this holiday season! Therefore, make your way to your local businesses, we for sure have many in Point Grey Village.
To motivate you further, if BC shifted 1% of their spending to locally owned, locally made and locally grown products, it would create 3100 jobs and send $94M in wages to BC workers. Lets #buylocal and help make our economy strive.

Drum roll please... With your help Point Grey Village was able to collect 383 items of warm clothing! Thank you to every single one of you who took out time to do this great deed.
The clothes have now been transported to Covenant House Vancouver . They will make sure the youth on the streets have warm clothing for this winter. It was a great week from November 4th to November 10th, here are some photos from Turn Down the Heat Week.
